Ashlee Simpson changes her name: she’s Ashlee Simpson-Wentz now
Ashlee Simpson has decided that from now on she’ll be known as Mrs Ashley Wentz.
Ashlee married Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz earlier in the month and shortly after their nuptials Pete said he didn’t know what she was going to do regarding her name but now she’s made up her mind: she’ll be Ashlee Wentz privately and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz professionally.
She told People magazine: “I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man. It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”
Pete added that it was completely Ashlee’s decision to make the change: “These decisions with Ashlee and her name are all completely up to Ashlee. I want her to do these kinds of things the way she wants to do them.”
