Janet Jackson hospitalised after falling ill at concert sound check
Janet Jackson was rushed to hospital last night after falling ill just hours before a concert.
The singer was forced to cancel the show in Montreal, Canada after she “got suddenly ill during a sound check”.
She was taken straight to hospital and kept overnight for monitoring, according to a statement released by her tour’s spokespeople. No further details regarding the nature of the illness or her current condition were released.
Janet’s Rock Witchu Tour - her first tour in seven years - started in Vancouver earlier this month and is scheduled to end in Detroit at the end of October after a run of gigs around the US and Canada. No word was given as to whether her gig in Boston tomorrow night would also have to be canceled.
