Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has dismissed rumours that she’s gaining too much pregnancy weight.
She wrote on her blog: “Today I read on a blog that I went to the doctor and he said I was overweight and I cried and went to Planet Blue (because I was blue) and bought 6 pair of size 0 jeans.
“My doctor says I am right on target with my weight gain, have not been to Planet Blue in at least two years, love my maternity jeans… they have stretchy tops it is awesome!”

Ashlee Simpson changes her name: she’s Ashlee Simpson-Wentz now
Ashlee Simpson has decided that from now on she’ll be known as Mrs Ashley Wentz.
Ashlee married Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz earlier in the month and shortly after their nuptials Pete said he didn’t know what she was going to do regarding her name but now she’s made up her mind: she’ll be Ashlee Wentz privately and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz professionally.
She told People magazine: “I think that that’s something that a woman should do when they’re marrying a man. It’s a tradition that I think is a great tradition.”

Pete Wentz has revealed he’s having a rather unorthodox honeymoon with new wife Ashlee Simpson.
Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show in Los Angeles yesterday, he joked that they’re spending their first days as husband and wife in the basement of their home: “We got some blow-up palm trees. A little fake-n-bake tanning booth.

The red and black invitation for the May 17 nuptials reads:
“It’s getting late so save the date: Ashlee & Pete, join us May 17, 2008, Los Angeles. Transportation will be provided to the wedding. You will be contacted with additional information.”
